Art III Collaboration

Art III students collaborated together to design & complete three large-scale paintings for the new Chromebook lab in the high school. These paintings will be a welcome addition to the room.

Headed to Regional Finals


Congrats to the Lady Rockets Volleyball Team on their 3-0 victory tonight in the Regional Semi-Finals vs. Fisher Catholic!! The Lady Rockets will play Saturday morning in the Regional Finals (Elite 8) at 11:00 AM at Lancaster High School. Pre-sale tickets will be on sale from 7:30 AM to 2:30 pm, Thursday and Friday at Berne Union High School. Please see Athletic Secretary Sonya Downour for your tickets. The cost of the tickets are $6.00 and a portion of the sales comes back to Berne Union Athletics. Good Luck to the Lady Rockets! Rocket Proud!!!

Best Band Season in History


Congratulations to our marching band! They have had the most awarded season in its history this year including 5 grand champions and 1 reserve at all of their competitions. Over the past weekend, they competed at the OMEA state finals for which they received perfect scores from all 6 judges and a superior rating.

Division IV District Volleyball Champions


BU Volleyball won division IV district championship this past Saturday. This is the first time in school history this has been done in volleyball. They move on to Regionals and play against Fisher Catholic this Wednesday at Lancaster High School beginning at 7:30. Congratulations ladies!

Theater Field Trip

The Theater Department took a field trip today to Otterbein University to see the production of “Much Ado About Nothing” as they gear up for “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon”, the first production at BUHS in over 30 years! Make sure you catch the play November 20th and 21st at 7:30 PM.

Veteran’s Day Program 2015

Please plan to attend the 16th Annual Veterans Day Program that will be held on Friday, Nov. 13. Berne Union is privileged and proud to once again host this event that honors so many Veterans. We will offer a new procedure for Veteran check-in this year just inside the main entrance doors. Check-in will begin at 12:30. The assembly is scheduled at 1:00pm in the high school gym, followed by a group picture and reception in our community room. The event is open to all Veterans, their family members or any community members that wish to attend. If you would like further details or would like to confirm you attendance, please contact Sonya Downour at 740-746-8341 ext. 118.

2 Hour Delay

Sugar Grove Field Trip

Picture Retakes (High School)


High School students should have received their pictures last Friday October 9th. If you would like retakes, please note that picture retakes are scheduled for October 27th. Students/Parents may choose to have photos retaken at that time.
